mojo fleur is...

...a bespoke floral design studio specializing in boutique & high style floral designs that are custom and made to order.  I work from my home studio, and since I don't have the expenses of a traditional brick-and-mortar, this helps keep my designs really affordable.

about kara...

... she enjoys making little (or Big) things of beauty that bring joy to others. Easy to talk to, laughs often likes pink hair and coral lipstick, enjoys thrift shopping with her mom, wears overalls every chance she gets, and Glitter! Like many of us has a lot on her creative "to do" list.  Her favorite place is still Disneyland. Favorite Ride: It's a Small World. Must be all those bright colors and you guessed it, Glitter!

Highlights from  her many accomplishments are competing at the San Diego Fair and winning multiple times for her creations, assisting David Root on a special gig for his organization "Petals for Patriots", giving back by donating designs to "Gala in the Gardens" directed by Rene Van Rems, and recently creating the wedding flowers for the first ever same sex couple's wedding at the Southbay Pride festival.  She has also worked as a freelance designer for Showtec on client projects most noteabley for Qualcomm and the San Diego Symphony.

She has also had a successful career in product design and development for the gift, garden and home decor industry,  so if your looking for someone for this sort of endeavor--get in touch.  Kara has owned an outlandish vintage clothing store called "Garish Vibe" specializing in gaudy attire from the 60's and 70's and ran a wild underground nightclub where she created themed events and decor that  truly was "never the same and like no other!"

Kara resides in San Diego, Ca in a mid-century home that she likes to spruce up. She shares it with a gang of felines- all of them rescue kitties. They are: jack and daisy, momma kitty and boodilicious, romeo and lil' moma, and tink.  Mojo Fleur gets it's namesake from her mojo, an angel kitty now, who holds a special place in her heart. That's him on the right.
